Back to school: how to choose the right school bag for your child?

August is drawing to a close, and back-to-school is just around the corner. 1. Adapt the size of the school bag to the child's age

As a general rule, the total weight (school bag + contents) should not exceed 10% of the child's weight.
3. Wheeled school bag or backpack?

It avoids loading the back, but can be more difficult to maneuver on stairs or crowded corridors. 4. Focus on durability
A school bag must last all year, or even several years for some models. Some points to check: reinforced seams, sturdy zippers, water-repellent fabric to withstand rainy days, and a reinforced bottom to absorb drops. A good school bag, even if a little more expensive to buy, often ends up being cheaper in the long run than a budget model that needs to be replaced every year.
